Bladeagotchi Introduction

So what's Bladeagotchi all about?

OK, before I begin, I'd like to mention that this page is inspired by Aurora Minui's Slightly Bitter Introduction page. If you're reading this, stand proud! I've tried to keep my cynicism here to a minimum.

Now then... Bladeagotchi is my website about my virtual pets. I actually took and put up my own photographs of virtual pets that I own, or have owned. And I'm also trying - and failing - to keep up with all the new Tamagotchi that Bandai is churning out of it's factories in the twenty-first century.

I am NOT selling any of my collection, nor will  I am to respond to emails asking me where to find a particular vpet. I actually took the time to write and create a webpage on where to find virtual pets.

I haven't had the time to create a section on each virtual pet I own. Generally, I do not write about virtual pets that I do not and/or have not owned in the past. Exception: I've created a page that lists all the versions of the new Tamagotchi that Bandai is making in the 21st Century, including the Japanese exclusives. If you're looking for information on the 'classic' tamagotchi that Bandai released in the nineties, then look elsewhere. My virtual pet links page is a good place to start.

And finally, a bit about me. I'm an early twenty-something year old male that lives in outback Australia. My nickname is Blade and I've named my website after that. I am not willing to release my real name onto the internet, but if you dig around a bit, I'm sure you'll find it. My native language is English - yes, we do speak English in Australia, but I also speak Russian and Spanish. I do not speak Japanese, but I hope to learn it someday.

I'm also a university student, and I'm always exceedingly busy. So, this site rarely gets updated - maybe once or twice a year - and it's a miracle that it's still online. I'm slow to reply to email. I get VERY annoyed at people asking me why I haven't created wallpapers, or growth charts, or created a nicer website, or asking me to translate entire books, or generally sending me abuse. You...you...you. This website isn't about YOU. If you don't like this website, then leave. If you do, then feel free to email me or send a donation. It's nice to be appreciated.

The picture that appears at the top of all the Blade's Place webpages is a photo of my office. My secretary needs a shave.. ;-)

My website is still online for only one reason: the high costs of maintaining this website are partially funded by Advertising, while the rest comes out of my own pocket (alas, moths aren't worth very much). If you have the time, clicking on any of the advertisements that appear on any of my pages would be highly appreciated. There are other ways you can support me too, without having to hand over a cent, some of which will actually make your life on the internet easier. I am also soliciting donations -  but then again, who isn't? I haven't received any yet, but am still hopeful. Thank You!
